OUR VOLUNTEERS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Volunteers are essential to our mission here at SitStayRead. Whether you want to volunteer solo, with your dog, or as part of a group, there are several ways to make a difference.

Please note we only serve students in Chicago, namely in neighborhoods on the south and west sides of the city, including South Austin, Rogers Park, Little Village, Auburn Gresham, Pilsen, Gage Park, Galewood, and Belmont Central.

If you have questions about volunteer opportunities, please email us at volunteer@sitstayread.org or complete the volunteer form below.

Don’t have a dog? Become a Book Buddy! You’ll work with a small group of students in the classroom. During each one-hour visit, you’ll help with reading and writing activities. Prospective Book Buddies must attend an orientation and pass a background check.
