Walk-a-palooza 2023
Join us for a morning of walking for a cause!
By participating in the Walk-a-palooza, you directly contribute to promoting literacy among young students. SitStayRead's programs use the unique and powerful bond between children and dogs to create a positive and engaging environment for learning. Your involvement helps empower children to develop essential reading skills and encourages them to become enthusiastic readers for life.
Every step you take during Walkapalooza helps raise vital funds for SitStayRead's programs. Your fundraising efforts directly translate into more reading materials, training for volunteers, and opportunities for children to participate in the animal-assisted reading sessions. Your dedication makes a tangible and lasting impact on the lives of young readers.

Randolph Street Market
The Randolph Street Market Festival is home to the world-renowned Chicago Antique Market, Indie Designer Market, Modern Vintage Chicago and the Holiday Market. As seen in Travel & Leisure, the NY Times, Lucky Magazine and featured on TV news shows and web casts, the Randolph Street Market Festival is considered “a mecca of cool”, “the best hot spot for antiquing”, “the best Chicago venue for people watching”, and “the Barney’s of Vintage”. As one of Chicago’s most happening monthly parties, Randolph Street Market has become the summer destination!
Hyde Park Farmers Market
The new market reveals an entirely fresh look with all new logistics, giving residents and visitors a chance to shop on the weekends and experience an infusion of healthy food, lifestyles, arts and culture.
Shoppers will find fresh produce from local Illinois farms, freshly baked breads and desserts, beautiful plants, packaged foods, personal beauty supplies, and traditional farmers market fare. Several market vendors accept Mastercard and Visa, LinkUp and SNAP payments in addition to cash.
The market is in compliance with City of Chicago and State of Illinois pandemic protocols to provide a comfortable and safe shopping experience.
Logan Square Farmers Market
Since 2005, The Logan Square Farmers Market (LSqFM) has been an open-air food market and weekly community gathering. The Market is powered by the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce, an association of nearly 200 local business members, whose mission is to advance the civic and commercial interests of Logan Square. The Chamber is a tax-exempt 501(c)6 not-for-profit community organization.
Mission:
To Build an Alternative Food System: The LSqFM provides an outlet for nutritious, conscientiously grown, and produced local foods, and education about these foods, for all members of our community regardless of income level.
To Foster Entrepreneurship: The LSqFM functions as an incubator for small-scale, local entrepreneurs, especially those in the food sector.
To Build Community: The LSqFM serves the community by raising the profile of the neighborhood, reinforcing a positive image of Logan Square, and creating a site for civic engagement and entertainment.
