Surinder (she/ella) holds a BA in Dance and Theatre (Hons) and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Western Sydney University in Australia. She also holds a Masters Degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago. Surinder has deep knowledge of the Chicago dance, performing arts and museum fields and she now is founder and lead connector at Connect the Dots Projects and consulting, a bespoke arts and humanities agency. She has experience in Project and Production Management, Artistic practice, Education, Grant writing, Accounting, and through Connect the Dots, Surinder mentors and facilitates conversations with artists of all disciplines to aid them in taking the next step in their career or project. Along with her life as an arts administrator and mentor, she is a dancer, actor, jewelry maker, poet, and storyteller and performs under the alias Miss Mittens.
