Meet Sadie

Sadie is a beautiful golden retriever with a big smile and an even bigger heart. She’s a frisbee star and loves snacks, reading, and kids!

Sadie’s Adoption Story

Sadie was adopted all the way from southern Illinois when she was just 8 weeks old. She snuggled in her mom’s lap the whole drive back home.

Sadie’s Personality

Sadie, like most golden retrievers, is loyal and loving. She’s also super social and loves to make friends!

Sadie loves playing frisbee with her sister Cali, especially when she can catch it in the air!

Sadie’s Perfect Day

Sadie’s perfect day would start off with a bacon-ful breakfast, followed by a long walk to the park for frisbee. Then, she would take a nap to recharge before heading down to the lake for more frisbee! She’d have some ice cream, another nap, and another walk before dinner and a long night’s rest.

How Carolyn Found SitStayRead

Carolyn heard about SitStayRead from her veterinarian, and attended our annual Bark N’ Ball gala. She immediately fell in love with the organization, and got herself and Sadie certified to volunteer! Three years later, Carolyn has loved to see all of the kids’ excitement at meeting Sadie, and Sadie loves the pets and the treats.
