Volunteer with Us

SitStayRead is currently recruiting volunteers for the 2025-26 school year. Volunteers are essential in helping our staff deliver meaningful programs in our partner schools and classrooms! Check out a quick overview of volunteer options.

Internship Opportunities

SitStayRead’s Internship program with NEIU is facilitated through the University’s Psychology program. If you are an NEIU student interested in hearing more about this internship opportunity, please contact Dr. Dykema-Engblade at the University.

SitStayRead works with High School Interns on a limited basis for on-site office support after school. We do not currently have any in-classroom opportunities for High School Interns or Volunteers under 18.
